Also devoted to the art song, Lindsay has performed dozens of song recitals in Austria and the United States. While living in Europe, she studied German Lieder intensively with Hartmut Höll and Mitsuko Shirai. She then formed a Lied Duo with the pianist Ayako Watanabe, and they have toured together extensively in Europe, Asia and the United States. Lindsay has also worked with the pianists Bogdan Dulu, Anne Seufert, Katharine Starbird, and Yoon-Hee Choi. She sings a wide variety of songs by Brahms, Mahler, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Schumann, Rachmaninov, R. Strauss, Wagner, Wolf, Bellini, Verdi, Debussy, Fauré, Milhaud, Poulenc, Satie, de Falla, Schönberg, Krenek, Hindemith, Bernstein, Copland, Gershwin, Ellington and Barber, among others.
In June 2002, Lindsay sang the soprano role at the world premiere of a mass by Günther Firlinger (Messe en style français for soprano, mezzo-soprano and organ) for the opening of the Bad Dürrnberg Concert Series. Then in the fall of 2003, she was a frequent soloist at the Salzburg Cathedral, often performing contemporary Austrian sacred arias with the organist Annette Rux. Lindsay has also been a featured soloist at the Maria Plain Basilica, the Friedensgemeinde, the Kollegienkirche and the Dreifaltigkeitskirche in Salzburg as well as at other churches in Austria and Bavaria and in the United States in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Chicago and Boston. Her oratorio repertoire includes the soprano roles in Bach's St Johannes Passion, Fauré's Requiem, Gounod's Messe à la memoire de Jeanne d'Arc, Handel's Messiah, and Mozart's Exultate, jubilate.
