Montserrat Caballe International Singing Competition

Lindsay has been selected to compete in the Montserrat Caballe International Singing Competition in September 2010 in Zaragoza, Spain.

Handel's Messiah with the Claremont Symphony Orchestra

Lindsay is the soprano soloist for the Claremont Symphony Orchestra's annual presentation of Handel's Messiah on Sunday December 19, 2010 at 3:30 PM.

Kathmandu Music for Peace Festival

June 20 - July 3, 2009

Lindsay was awarded a Davis Projects for Peace Grant to launch a new summer music festival in Kathmandu, Nepal! The festival was also sponsored by Hope Partnership Nepal and the Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory. Together with the pianist Ayako Watanabe, Lindsay performed multiple recitals, taught master classes in opera, organized a concert for local musicians, and presented scholarship awards for gifted Nepali musicians. The Peace Scholarships are funding a full year of study at the Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory.

"Opera Scenes"

Hillhouse Opera hosted a series of concerts at St James Church in New Haven. Donations benefitted St James' Christian Academy. The concerts included scenes from Madama Butterfly, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, The Abduction from the Seraglio, Les Huguenots, and Der Rosenkavalier.

Lindsay also sang the role of the Marschallin in the Act III finale of Der Rosenkavalier.
